Platter made from reclaimed California redwood. Refined with a raw, intensely tactile quality. The sinuous shape and the honesty of the wood grain and burl fits with any number of interior environments.
The making of...
Greg's pieces are first turned on the lathe from fresh reclaimed wood using a number of techniques that have evolved over the years. Each piece is then hand-carved or textured based on the artist's intuition and the wood's own natural qualities.
